Q: Who
approved this course?
A: The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
Q: Do I need a
special brand or
type of computer
or software?
A: No. If you can get on the Internet, you can use our program.
Q: I am
new to the Internet.
What happens if I have trouble?
A: We've designed this course for beginners, so you will need no
special computer skills. Personal help is available via
telephone or E-Mail.
Q: Can I use
Web-TV or
AOL?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I use my
Macintosh computer?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I do the course from
more than one computer?
A: Yes. You may do the course from someone else's computer, from
a friend's house, at home, at work or school or the library. All
you need is your user name and password.
Q: What if I
don't own a computer?
A: You can use a computer at the Public Library or at Kinko's or
any place that has a computer that can connect to the internet.
Q: What happens if my
computer
crashes while I am in the middle of the
program? Will I lose all of my progress and answers?
A: Not in most cases. If you have finished a chapter and already
answered the questions, you will get credit for that chapter. If
you are in the middle of the final exam, the computer will save
all answers from chapters you have finished. A crash will only
lose your work on unfinished chapters or exam questions.
Q: Do I need to have a
printer
required to take the program?
A: No. The only thing you may want to print out is the
verification that you passed the final exam at the end of the
course. But, this is unnecessary since Car Control Traffic
Schools Online will mail you an official State of Florida
certificate of completion.
Q: Do you track what computer I am working on?
A: No. And all of
your information is confidential
and only shared with the Florida State Department of Highway
Safety and Motor Vehicles as required by law.
